MediaTrad is a web application that enables efficient translation and localization of any InDesign® document. It significantly reduces the time to market of materials like catalogues, folders, instruction booklets, warranties or forms, which need to be published in many languages. Management of the translation of such documents with MediaTrad is easier and much faster than with conventional techniques

The typical translation process consists of the following steps: separation of the text from the graphical presentation, text translation, replacing the original text with the translated text, layout modification (the length of text varies in different languages), and verification and correction. This is a laborious and manual process, but with MediaTrad the process is simpler and shorter – up to 7 times quicker.
